President's report

Post Election and Conservative Convention there are so many things to highlight and look forward to in the next 4 years. The Conservative Government is committed to acting on mandates from the people of Canada. The Government is committed to strengthening families and giving money to families by lowering taxes. We have the lowest Federal tax burden since John Diefenbaker was Prime Minister. Taxes have been lowered for children’s sports and artistic programs, for students, trades people, immigrants, volunteer firefighters, caregivers, and seniors.
Our government is committed to creating jobs, keeping taxes low and eliminating the de ficit and, once we have a balanced budget, the government will introduce income splitting for families. The government will combine their criminal justice bills that they have been working on for years and bring in legislation that will put the government on the side of the victims and law abiding citizens and not the criminals. The long gun registry will be scrapped. The Canadian Forces will be equipped with new fighter jets, ships and equipment they deserve as they are putting their lives on the line for our country. Our government plans to take care of our Environment and Conservation needs. They plan to get rid of the per vote taxpayer subsidy given to political parties. We are on the top of the world’s top performing nations because our government focused on the economy making Canada one of the best countries to invest and to do business in. Our Prime Minister is very strategic and he is driven by moral obligations so I believe the Government will work hard to do what they have promised. WE CAN BE PROUD OF CANADA. We can be PROUD OF THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA. Our EDA board has created a variety of sub-committees which includes: Membership, Events, Newsletter, Fundraising, Constitution and Policy, or Election Readiness.
